She was predeceased by: her parents, Delia Mae Conner Tidrow and B. C. "Alf" Tidrow; her former spouse J. C. Short; her spouse W. A. Dutton; her son Larry Short; her grandsons, Bobby Short and Jonathan Short; and her brothers, J. C. Tidrow and Chick Tidrow.
She is survived by: her children, Clifford Short (Mynea) of Haskell and Cindy Short of Abilene; her brother Gaston Tidrow (Willie Faye) of Haskell; her daughter-in-law Shirley Short of Rochester; and her grandchildren, Kimberly Meier of Clyde, Sharla Bradford of Excelsior Springs, MO, Michelle Taylor of Abilene, James Green of Abilene, Cameron Short of Haskell, Bradley Matlock of Justin and Ashlee Gainey of Colorado City.
