He was predeceased by: his parents, Barney Eugene and Sybil Cook Long; and his brother Jimmy Lee Long. He is survived by: his wife Jo Iva Long of Haskell; his children, Tom Long (Carla) of Haskell and Shelly Hodde (Doug) of Whitehouse; his grandchildren, Nathan Long, Debbi Maxwell (Aaron), Andrew Long, Sarah Jo Atkinson (Grant), Katherine Hodde (Taahir) and Alice Sanderson (David); his niece Candice James of Oklahoma; and his cousins, Barbara Puckett of Andrews, Norma Bragg of Ruidoso, NM, Leon Long, Jr. of Lubbock and James Long of Ruidoso, NM. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
