She was predeceased by: her father Felix Frierson; her husband William "Bill" Steele; her daughter Linda Whisenhunt; her great grandchild Casen Riley; her mother Dura Lois Frierson (McBurnett); and her siblings, Dick, Pete, Monte Frierson, Alice Holloway, Lela Lois Frierson and Velma Campbell.
She is survived by: her children, William Steele (Pam) of Haskell and Betty McDermett of Haskell. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren.
