He was predeceased by: his daughter Melissa Long; and his brothers, Johnny Harold Long, Robert Charles Long and Michael Dean Long (Rojo). He is survived by: his parents, Shelia Long King (Schoonover) of Lake Stamford and Samuel Richard Long, II of Graham, Texas; his children, David Allen Long (Justice) of Snyder, Texas, Natasha Long (Fernando) of Philadelphia and Amy Long of Odessa, Texas; his sisters, Denise Bullock (Sam) of Graham, Deana Lewis (Terry) of Clyde and Cassie Lee Long of New Jersey; and his uncle Larry Long of Woodson, Texas. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Weinert Cemetery.
