He is survived by: his close friend Puppy; his children, John Harris of Midland and Dr. Elizabeth Harris; his granddaughters, Caroline and Emily; his sister Kathy Proffitt (John Proffitt) of Tulsa; and his nephews, Keith Proffitt (Bethany Proffitt) of Tulsa and Jason Proffitt of Tulsa.
