She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Betty, John Malone, Shorty and Emma Messenger; and also, TJ and Doris Brueggeman.
She is survived by: her parents, Johna "Malone" Messenger and Randy Messenger of Haskell, Texas; her husband Christopher Brown of Haskell, Texas; her sons, Jonathan and Nathaniel Brown of Haskell, Texas; her siblings, Gina Niteo of Haskell, Debra McNeil of Oklahoma, Brannon Tabb of Ballinger, Texas, LeeAnn Riggs of McCauley and Lauren Olmstead of Brookshire, Texas; her in-law Terry Jo Brueggeman; and her grandmother Joyce Tabb (Gene).
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Smith Family Funeral Homes (304 N 2nd St, Haskell, TX 79521). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (301 N Ave E, Haskell, TX 79521).
