It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Macias Enriquez of Haskell, Texas, born in Sagerton, Texas, who passed away on April 30, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan Macias and Amada Pardo Macias; her husband Bruce Enriquez (Cruz); her daughter Dianne Lerma; and her siblings, Benita Barrientos, Martina Salinas, Andrea Kittley, Constancia Crispin, Josephine Sainze and Catarino Macias.
She is survived by: her children, Domingo Enriquez (Beatrice) of Mineral Wells, TX, Manuel Enriquez (Delores) of Mineral Wells, TX, Matilde Lopez (Ponciano) of Haskell, TX, Minnie Camacho (Jose) of Haskell, TX, Lucha Gonzales (Robert) of Medford, OK, Bruce Enriquez Jr. (Yvette) of Hickory Creek, TX, Francisco Enriquez (Delia) of Seguin, TX, Alberto Enriquez (Elida) of Haskell, TX, Maria Guadalupe Herrera (Ramon Jr) of Wellington, TX, Johney Ray Enriquez (Lilia) of Lubbock, TX and Louis Enriquez (Bette) of Haskell, TX; and her son-in-law Ray Lerma of Knox City, TX. She is also survived by 39 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of dear friends.
