He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Wheatley and Reba Wheatley (Dinsmore); his brothers, Marvin Joyce and Tommy; his sister-in-law Jerry Wheatley; his grandsons, Jared Reynolds and Jordan Wheatley; his nephew Dale Wheatley; and his great-nephew Brady Wheatley.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Wheatley; his children, Lynn (Jacklyn Wheatley) of Haskell, Joe Wheatley of Haskell, Jonna Reynolds and David Wheatley of Benbrook; his grandchildren, Brianna, Justin, Matt, Paige, Kalyn and Evan; and his friends, Frankie Jo Baker and Margaret Ruth Rash. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
