He is survived by: his mother Angelica Benavides (Perez) of Haskell; his children, Hilbert Benavides, Jr. (Susan Sutton) of Abilene, Jesus Benavides (Lindsey Moor) of Abilene and Priscilla Benavides of Abilene; his stepchildren, Alyssa Ibarra (Nathaniel Reid) of Abilene, Esmeralda Ibarra (Samuel Navarro II) of Denton and Joseph Ibarra of Abilene; and his siblings, Elsa Rodriguez (Amado) of Knox City, Emily Escobedo (Rfino) of Austin, Amador Benavides (Linda) of San Angelo and Joe Benavides of Haskell. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
