He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Emily Bell (Weaver) and Rebus B. Guess; his wife Sarah Guess; his siblings, Bailey Guess (Mildred), Rebus Guess (Leora), Bob Guess (Mary Sue), Mabel Derr (Vern), LaVera Hummel (Bud), Rita Hughes (Chan), Otie Bell Mayfield (Clyde), LaVern Mayfield (John Alex), Jeannie Brown (V. A.) and Matilda Guess; his children, Caron Yates (Joe) of Weinert, Hal Guess (Cindy) of Weinert and Cristi Little (Bill) of Olney; and his grandchildren, Jace Yates (Tessa) of Scotland, Dustin Yates (Lily) of Lincoln, T. J. Yates (Carin) of Clyde, Heather Waters (Shannon) of Paint Creek, Heath Guess of Weinert, Cayleigh Freeling (Cade) of Borger and Carson Little of Olney.
