He is survived by: his children, Steven Diaz of Lubbock, Gloria Diaz of Knox City, George Diaz, Jr. of Lubbock and Brent Watson of Haskell; his grandchildren, Lucinda Gonzalez, Megan Garcia, Eddie Martinez, Jr., Michaela Martinez, Steven Diaz, Jr., Christian Diaz, Joana Diaz, Jasmine Diaz, Jose Diaz, Eric Diaz, Hailey Diaz, Jacob Diaz, Mikey Diaz, Christopher Diaz, Cassandra Diaz, Amber Diaz and Samuel Diaz; and his siblings, Johnny Diaz of Haskell, Octavio Diaz (Roy Diaz) of Mineral Wells, Raymond Diaz (Leonor Sanchez) of Idaho and Dora Whitley of Abilene. He is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren.
