He was predeceased by: his son Abel Valenzuela Armenta; his parents, Francisco Armenta and Reyes Armenta (Sercas); and his siblings, Fernando Armenta, Pete Armenta, Joe Armenta, Juanita Garcia (Armenta), Feliciana Sanchez (Armenta) and Mary Ward (Armenta).
He is survived by: his wife Lynda Armenta (McDaniel); his children, Rebecca Wilson (Albert) of Monahans, Kelly Aguilar of Monahans, Tara Johnson (Tim) of Odessa, TX and Shan Torkelson (Chrissy) of Hiawatha, KS; and his brother Alfonso Armenta of Haskell, TX. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, nine grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
