He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Hardy and Thelma; his father George "Sonny" Zant; his sister Timmie Owen; and his nephew Sean Dalton.
He is survived by: his wife Tammie Tredway Zant; his mother Mary Martin (Larry); his siblings, Stoney Kersh (Diana), Machial Covey (JB) and Johnny McNeil (Naomi); and his brother-in-law Jack Owen. He is also survived by many friends, nieces, and nephews.
