He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie Mae Wilson (Turnbow) and Joseph Adell Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Grace Thomas of Haskell; his sons, Billy Ray Thomas, Jr. of Haskell and Joey Thomas (Tiffany) of Haskell; his grandchildren, Joshua Thomas (Kleesy) of Merkel, Aaron Thomas of Dallas, Keaton Thomas (Jordan Robinson) of Haskell, Payton Thomas of Lubbock, Tanner Thomas of San Angelo and Makenzie Reese (Tyler) of Lubbock; his great grandchildren, Leo Thomas of Merkel, Ben Thomas of Merkel and Hayden Robinson of Haskell; and his sister Mary Ann Wheatley (Jerry) of Cleburne. He is also survived by two nephews and many cousins.
