It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Bode of Harper, Texas, who passed away on November 9, 2020, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Itz and Ida Oehler Itz; her husband Clifford Bode; and her siblings, Chester Itz, Bessie Wienecke, Norma Bernhard and Johanna Wendel.
She is survived by: her son Doug Bode (Doylene) of Harper; her brother Lee Roy Itz of Austin; and her grandchildren, Kenny Bode (Andrea) of Harper and Lisa Sanders (Roy) of Harper. She is also survived by 3 great grandchildren.
