He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Verna Deathridge and John Deathridge; and his mother JoAnn Lucas. He is survived by: his adoptive father Edgar Bray; his wife Amy Bray; his daughter Nina Bray; his grandchildren, Rhonda Blankenship, Jarilyn Blankenship and Miyjalyn Cauton; his great grandchild Reginald "Gary" J. Elaban-Bray; his grandchildren, Jacob Singh and Amelie Singh; and also Edgar Bray. He is also survived by four children who adopted him as their father.
