She was predeceased by: her parents, Guadalupe Reyes and Rebecca Reyes; her husband Gonzalo Gonzalez; her siblings, Rene Reyes, Yolanda Gonzalez and Ovidia Garcia; and her grandsons, Brian Gonzalez and Jonavin Lino Escamilla.
She is survived by: her siblings, Teodoro Reyes (Terry), Noelia Martinez and Thelma Reyes; her children, Gonzalo Gonzalez (Elma), David Gonzalez (Aida), Velma Torres, Bobby Gonzalez, Xavier Gonzalez (Samantha) and Anna Lisa Escamilla; her grandchildren, Melissa Johnson, Erik Gonzalez, Julie Gonzalez, David, Michael Gonzalez, Brianna Torres, Dominik Torres, Bobby James Bentley, Xavier, Andrew Gonzalez, Liliana Gonzalez, Ashley Boerner, Justin Escamilla and Lauren Escamilla; her great grandchildren, Haylee Johnson, Bella Gonzalez, David, Victoria Gonzalez, Ethan Gonzalez, Roland Gonzalez, Easton Bentley, Jameson Gonzalez, Memphis Gonzalez, Beckham Boerner, Bennett, John Luke Escamilla, Kaila Zepeda, Alise Garza, Jordin Garza and Peyton Garza; and her great great grandchild Ezra Ruiz.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Rudy Garza Funeral Home - Harlingen (1702 E Harrison Ave, Harlingen, TX 78550). A rosary was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St Anthony Catholic Church (1102 E Van Buren Ave, Harlingen, TX 78550-7176). A burial was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Santa Gertrudis Cemetery (835 W Caesar Ave, Kingsville, TX 78363).
