She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur L. Helems and Vera M. Helems (Harrison); her husband Allen L. Stewart (Arkie); her daughter Linda Stewart; her grandsons, Bryan Raney and Bobby Raney; and her brothers, Arthur L. Helems, Jr., Kenneth E. Helems and Carl D. Helems.
She is survived by: her children, Cathy Reynolds (Boyd) of McAllen, Debe Hollestelle (Dan) of Cibolo, Carrie Stewart of Glendale, Larry Stewart (Jeanne) of Harlingen and Rita Lingensjo (Mike) of Harlingen; her sister Florene Huffman (Tony) of Albuquerque; her grandsons, Jeff Reynolds, Allen Lingensjo, Derek Stewart, Dillon Stewart and John Gonzales; her great grandchild Joel Komorn; and her sons-in-law, Boyd Reynolds, Dan Hollestelle and Mike Lingensjo. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and many loving nephews, nieces and relatives.
