He was predeceased by: his former wife Mary Lana Livengood; his parents, William Livengood, Sr. and Leota Mae Livengood (Leeper); and his sister Carol Mae Livengood. He is survived by: his wife Johnnie Corley of Harlingen, Texas; his son Matthew Livengood of Terre Haute; his stepsons, Lewis Gossett (Kristy) of Rockville, Indiana and Charles Gossett of Rockville, Indiana; and his brother Bernie Livengood (Loretta) of Kingman, Indiana. He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
