She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Mat Cawood and Sallie Mat Holland Cawood; her husband Bobby Harold Evatt; her sons, Jeffrey Michael Evatt of Harlingen and Matthew John Evatt of Tucson; and her grandsons, Wyatt Mat Evatt and Hayes David Evatt of Tucson.
