She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Marcos Polanco and Ramona Ortega Polanco; her husband Pedro Garza, Sr.; her sons, Pedro Garza, Jr. (Pearl) and Dr. Jim Garza; and her grandchildren, Selena Garza Stockton (Rodney), Peter Garza (Veronica), Christopher Garza (Rebecca), Deanna Garza (Gloria Ayala), Clair Ross (Brent), Lauren G. Klos, James Garza (Sarah), Matthew Garza (Lauren) and Amanda Garza. She was also cherished by 11 great-grandchildren.
