She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond H. Braley and Dorothy Irene Braley; her husband John Blue; her son Steve Echols; and her brother Dennis Braley.
She is survived by: her children, Martha Prakash, Linda Nesler and Scott Echols; her grandchildren, Toska, Justin, Lauren and Michael; and her sister Martha Dehn. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Trinity Funeral Chapel of the Holy Spirit (1002 E Harrison Ave, Harlingen, TX 78550). A rosary was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The inurnment was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Rio Grande Valley Veteran's Cemetery (2520 Inspiration Rd, Mission, TX 78572).
