He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar B. Gray (Buster) and Eva Gray; and his brother Jimmie A. Gray. He is survived by: his wife Iva Jo Gray of Harlingen; his children, Kimberly Lynn Gray of Harlingen and Sterling Michael Gray (Robin) of San Benito; his grandchildren, Dusty Mathis (Erica), Connor Sterling Gray, Krystina Ginther (Carlos) and Megan Kaftira (Altin); and his great grandchildren, Sterling, Barrett, Kaelyn, Keylee, Novah and Brynn.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
