She was predeceased by: her father Cecilio Gutierrez; her husband Napoleon Alvarez; and her parent Nicolasa Gutierrez. She is survived by: her children, Maria Lopez, Alma Garcia (Jesus), Juan Alvarez (Flor), Dora Ramos (Juan) and Hugo Alvarez; and her siblings, Jose Gutierrez, Gilberto Gutierrez and Maria Longoria. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Trinity Funeral Home (1002 E Harrison Ave, Harlingen, TX 78550). A rosary was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Trinity Funeral Chapel (1002 E Harrison Ave, Harlingen, TX 78550). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Trinity Funeral Home (1002 E Harrison Ave, Harlingen, TX 78550). A burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Harlingen-Combes Memorial Park Cemetery.
