He is survived by: his wife Dora Celia Rios; his sons, Cesar Maldonado (Liz) of Houston and Jorge Maldonado (Rosie) of Harlingen; his sister Maria Antonia Maldonado of Monterrey, N. L.; his siblings-in-law, Ariel Rios (Celia) and Corina Rios; his grandchildren, Laura Rocha (Jason), Alexis Mansell (Chase), Kristin Maldonado, Cassandra Maldonado of Houston, Marcus Maldonado, Christopher Maldonado (Marisa) of Harlingen, Nick Maldonado of New York City, Vanessa Heck and Selina Maldonado of Dallas; his great grandchildren, Julianne, William Rocha, Harrison, Preston Heck, Vincent and Elise Mansell; and his grandchildren, Lucas and Carter Maldonado.
