It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rubin Garcia of Harlingen, Texas, who passed away on December 17, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Rubin leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dolmiro Garcia and Mary Lou Villanueva (Huerta); his children, Ruby Martinez (Armin), Veronica Esquibel (Oscar) and Rubin Garcia, Jr.; his stepfather Mateo Villanueva; and his sister Linda Ortega. He was also cherished by 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren and numerous other family members.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the Duddlesten Funeral Home (604 W Hidalgo Ave, Raymondville, TX 78580). A rosary was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
