He was predeceased by: his parents, Ramon Ortiz and Lydia Castro; and his sister Yolanda O. Garza. He is survived by: his daughters, Amanda Marie Ortiz (Antonio Vargas), Jessica Marie Ortiz and Casandra Marie Garcia (Aaron Garcia); his nephew Tony Ortiz; his grandchildren, Devanee Rain Loredo, Hailey Marie Romero, Avery Giselle Garcia and Aaron Robert Garcia Jr.; and his siblings, Raymond Ortiz Jr. (Anita), Mary Lou Perez (Joe) and Rosie Fernandez (Robert).
