He is survived by: his mother Laurentina Muniz Cruz; his wife Bellanira Cruz; his children, Krystal Lizette, Marli Philips, Ruben Cruz III and Crucefex Jose Cruz; his stepchildren, Julio Segura and Samantha Segura McDonald; and his siblings, Hector Cruz (Maria), Raul Cruz (Claudia), Matthew Cruz, Emma Cruz Vasquez (Salvador) and Betty Ann Cruz (Raul). He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts and uncles.
