With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rosa Idalia Rodriguez of Harlingen, Texas, who passed away on February 3, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Pedro Martinez and Otilia Martinez; and her sister Amparo Del Roble Martinez. She is survived by: her husband Eusebio Rodriguez of Harlingen; her children, Juan Rodriguez (Sylvia) of Katy and Rosie Mata (Lupe) of Friendswood, Texas; her grandchildren, Savannah Hernandez (Danny), Vanessa Marie Mata and David Anthony Mata; her great grandchildren, Caleb Ng, Penelope Hernandez and Nayeli Danielle Hernandez; and her siblings, Humberto Martinez, San Juana Martinez and Carlos Martinez.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Rudy Garza Funeral Home - Harlingen (1702 E Harrison Ave, Harlingen, TX 78550). A rosary was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Rudy Garza Funeral Home (1702 E Harrison Ave, Harlingen, TX 78550). A burial was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at the Ashland Memorial Park Cemetery (21037 Godwin Rd, Harlingen, TX 78550).
