She was predeceased by: her father Jose Salas; her husband Albert Dickson; and her mother Romana Aranda Salas. She is survived by: her son Antonio S. Cortez (Juanita); her granddaughters, Rosalinda Deaver (Marvin) and Rita Cortez Duarte (Daniel); her siblings, Elia Casteo, Olivia Tovar, Carmela Salas, Lupe Salas and Yadira Leon; her grandson Cortez Jr.; and her great grandchildren, Juanita Michelle Deaver, Amber Duarte, Daniel Duarte, Jr., Antonio Luis Cortez, Marcus Alexander Cortez, Aaron Andrew Cortez and Marvin Lee Deaver.
