We bid farewell to Roberto H. Chavez of Harlingen, Texas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 17, 2025 at the age of 83. Roberto touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Pedro Chavez and Rita Hinojosa; and his wife Isabel G. Chavez. He is survived by: his children, Robert Chavez Jr., David Chavez and Aurora Isabel Chavez; his grandchildren, Joshua Chavez (Brittany) and Yacxara Chavez (Ryan); his half-sister Ester Anguiano; and his siblings, Ramiro Chavez (Alicia), Elma De La Garza (Joe), Rita Garza (Guadalupe) and Zoila Barajas (Fernando). He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Trinity Funeral Home (1002 E Harrison Ave, Harlingen, TX 78550). A prayer will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Trinity Funeral Chapel (1002 E Harrison Ave, Harlingen, TX 78550). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Trinity Funeral Home (1002 E Harrison Ave, Harlingen, TX 78550). A burial will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Alvarez Family Cemetery (21285 Godwin Rd, Harlingen, TX 78550).
