He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Adam Eilers and Mary Eilers (Mayme Bachman); and his siblings, Frank Eilers, Fred Eilers and Gladys Bandemer.
He is survived by: his wife Loretta Vogel; his children, Kenneth Eilers (Debbie) of Mercedes and Connie Gatlin of Dallas; his grandchildren, Terese Volkmann (Mike), Kyle Eilers (Candice), Greg Gatlin (Ashley) and Doug Gatlin; and his great grandchildren, Claire, Samuel Volkmann, Camden, Kade, Peyton Rose Eilers and Ember Gatlin.
