With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Johnston (Harlingen, Texas), born in Big Spring, Texas, who passed away on March 6, 2020 at the age of 80. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Robert Johnston to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon C. Johnston and Doris Johnston; and his son Glenn Austin Johnston. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his siblings, Nancy Long (David) of Hawkins and Tip Johnston (Ann) of Harlingen; his nephew Brent Johnston (Dallas) of Rockwell; and his nieces, Rhonda Carlin (Steve) of Round Rock, Carrie Allen (Shane) of McGregor and Melissa South (Brian) of Winnsboro. He is also survived by four great-nephews and three great-nieces.

A lifetime Love & Support for Baylor University, Bob was a BU Ambassador, Old Main Society, 1845 Society, Bear Foundation, and established three Endowed Scholarships.
