He was predeceased by: his parents, Francisco Cavazos and Belen Garza Cavazos; and his brother Francisco "Paco" Cavazos. He is survived by: his children, Brenda Cavazos, Jennifer Cavazos and Ramon Cavazos, Jr.; and his siblings, Ofelia Rodriguez, Tina Krause, Mindy Staruh, Gloria Martinez, Cuca Riojas and Manuel Cavazos. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
