With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Porfirio Diaz in Harlingen, Texas, who passed away on September 28, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Diaz and Esperanza Castillo Diaz; his siblings, Maria Juarez, Guadalupe Diaz and Concepcion Diaz; his daughter Maria (Jesus Diaz); and his daughter-in-law Linda C. Diaz.
He is survived by: his wife Carlota Diaz; his children, Jorge Luis Gonzales (Susana), Juan Ricardo Diaz (Dahlia), Rosario Martinez (Joseph), Monica Benavides (Ramiro) and Melinda Guadalupe Diaz; and his siblings, Pascual Diaz (Ernestina), Consuelo and Celia Diaz. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
