He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Diaz and Juana Zavala; his wife Maria De Jesus Diaz; and his daughter Sylvia Perrill. He is survived by: his children, Janie Amaya, Porfirio Diaz Jr. (Yolanda), Norma Garcia, Mirelia Arguelles (Cesar), Sonia Lambert (Brett), Aaron Diaz (Norma), Fabian Diaz and Adrian Diaz (Sylvia); and his siblings, Jose Diaz, Carlos Diaz, Delfino Diaz and Stella Mares. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
