He was predeceased by: his parents, Geronimo Refugio and Maria Del Refugio (Reyes); and his brothers, Jose Angel, Geronimo Jr., Eluide, Geronimo and Alberto.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Flores; his sons, Joaquin and John Paul; his stepson Tommy Higgins; his sisters, Santos Hernandez and Oralia Munoz; and also Beans.
