He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Apolinar Sr. Navarrette and Hermina Navarrette; his wife Ruby Navarrette; his children, Jaime Navarrette (Cindy), Rita Ortiz (Mark), Jacob Navarrette (Aida) and Sarah Navarrette (Mario); his siblings, Irma Rodriguez, Antonia Hernandez, Lupe Navarrette and Juan Navarrette; and his grandchild Angel Villarreal. He was also cherished by fifteen grandchildren, three great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
