He was predeceased by: his parents, Flinn Sash and Florine Flinn; and his sister Patricia Ponton. He is survived by: his wife Anna Claire; his sons, David Flinn (Sandra) and John Flinn (Paige); his grandsons, Jacob Renshaw Flinn, John McCall "Mac" Flinn II, Matthew Duncan Flinn and Benjamin Kelly Flinn; and also Beth Carter. He is also survived by his family and close friends.
