We are sad to announce that on February 24, 2025, at the age of 78, Omar Aparicio of Harlingen, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Luis Aparicio and Paula Aparicio; and his brothers, Romel and Jaime. He is survived by: his wife Alicia Aparicio; his daughters, Veronica Varner (Chris) and Yvette Olivarez (Lorenzo); his siblings, Rudolfo "Popo" Aparicio (Diana) and Erendira "Chuqui" Stevens (Charles); his grandchildren, Shane Scallan (Stacey), Nicole Scallan (Ryan Samii), Anthony Aparicio-Scallan (Amy), Austin Olivarez, Cameron Olivarez and Celeste Olivarez; and his great grandchild Avery Rae Scallan.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Rudy Garza Funeral Home - Harlingen (1702 E Harrison Ave, Harlingen, TX 78550).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you raise a glass of red wine in his honor and share a story that makes you laugh.
