As Olivia departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Olivia may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Olivia leaves behind.
She is survived by: her children, Hilda Ochoa of Rio Hondo, George Rivera, Jr. of Harlingen and Lila R. Garcia of Harlingen; and also Gloria Alvarado of Brownsville, Texas.. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Rudy Garza Funeral Home - Harlingen (1702 E Harrison Ave, Harlingen, TX 78550). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM and at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at the Ashland Memorial Park Cemetery (21037 Godwin Rd, Harlingen, TX 78550).
