She was predeceased by: her parents, Segundo Ruiz and Julia Serrano; her daughter Sandra Sue Guerra; her siblings, Alfredo Ruiz, Jaime Ruiz, Arnoldo Ruiz Serrano, Nieves Omar Ruiz Serrano, Elvin Ruiz Serrano, Segundo Ruiz Serrano Jr., Neggie Eniada Ruiz Serrano, Evelia Ruiz Serrano and Noelia Ruiz Serrano; and her grandson Norberto "Trey" Ignacio Guerra III.
She is survived by: her sons, Darrell Ivan Guerra (Ana Guerra), Elvin Rene Guerra (Ashley Guerra), David Daniel Guerra and Norberto Ignacio Guerra Jr.; and her sisters, Ada Nivia Ruiz Serrano and Catalina Ruiz Serrano. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
