He is survived by: his parents, Natividad Ruiz Sr. and Delia C. Cook; his wife Patricia Taylor Ruiz; his siblings, Rolando Ruiz, Nathan Charles Ruiz (Nikki), Cynthia Ruiz Prince (Alvis) and Natalie C. Ruiz; his nieces and nephews, Joshua, Justin, Jannelle Marie Ledesma, Juan Angel Ruiz and Nicolas Cruz Ruiz; his great-nieces, Maya Rose Garcia and Skylar Rae Ledesma; his aunts, Inez Cabrera, Dominga Gomez, Irma Ruiz and Yolanda Ruiz; and his uncle Antonio Ruiz Sr..
