He was predeceased by: his parents, Melquiades Flores Sr. and Thelma Garcia Flores; his wife Yolanda Flores; his children, Melquiades "Mikie" Flores, Jr. and Nelda Flores; his granddaughter Ariana Garcia; and his brother Baldemar Flores.
He is survived by: his children, Diana Flores, Ricky Flores, Heriberto Flores and Janie Flores; and his grandchildren, Yelena, Salena, Sabrina, Ricky Jr., Amber, Angelina, Heriberto Jr., Ashley and Mikie. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren; and numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends.
