He was predeceased by : his parents, Fausto Martinez and Francisca Viesca; and his grandchildren, Alex Martinez and Yesenia Montalvo. He is survived by : his children, Amparo Martinez, Fausto Martinez, Gerardo Martinez, Gloria Estela Martinez, Martha Alicia Martinez, Rosa Elia Martinez, Alfredo Martinez and Jose Luis Martinez; and his sisters, Placida Martinez Payne and Teresa Hernandez. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
