It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Louise McCarty (Harlingen, Texas), who passed away on April 18, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Emma Harriett Williams and Robert Lee Williams, Sr.; her siblings, Robert Lee Williams, Jr., Barbara Rosen and Emma Jean Williams; and her niece Gail Rosen.
She is survived by: her husband John Lee McCarty; her children, Diana McCarty (Dale) and Mike McCarty (Katie); and her grandchildren, Candice Esquivel (Rene), Michelle McCarty (Kevin), Kaytlyn Montes (Rogelio) and Joshua Santillan (Samantha). She is also survived by four great grandsons, three great granddaughters and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to the Abundant Life Church (Abundantlifergv.org, 101 N. "O" St., Harlingen, TX 78550) or the Humane Society of Harlingen (Hshtx.org, 1106 Markowsky Ave., Harlingen, TX 78550).
