He is survived by: his siblings, Alfredo Cariaga Sr. of Houston and Janie Cariaga-Felix of Riverside, CA.; his wife Maria Teresa Villarreal Cariaga; and his children, Alberto Cariaga (Leticia), Armando Cariaga (Jacqueline), Arturo Cariaga (Nora), Alma Teran Jr. (Guadalupe), Anna Cariaga and Angela Cariaga.
