Chambers (Harlingen, Texas), born in Dallas, Texas, who passed away on May 30, 2019, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Claudia Katherine Arrington and Thomas Angus Griffin; her husband William H. Chambers, Sr.; and her siblings, Raymond Griffin, Thomas A. Griffin, Elizabeth McSwain and Mary Olive Granger.
She is survived by: her children, Claudia Sowell (David) of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Dr. William "Bill" Chambers, Jr. (Virginia) of Tyler and Marjorie Rozell (Andrew) of Harlingen; her grandchildren, Laura Dennis (Brent), Elizabeth Sowell, Judith Chambers, Joshua Chambers (Valerie), Griffin Rozell (Olga) and Caroline Toumazatos (Steve); and her great grandchildren, Zane, Ethan, Abigail Dennis, Kathryn, Lauren, Allyson Chambers, Anastasia and Claudia Rozell.
