He was predeceased by: his father Isidro Velasquez. He is survived by: his mother Sulema Chavez; his daughters, Ashley Nicole, Allie Jean, Jenna Lee and Krista Belle; and his brothers, Domingo Chavez, Jose Angel Velasquez and Luis Alberto Velasquez.
