It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mariana R. Garcia of Harlingen, Texas, born in Mercedes, Texas, who passed away on September 11, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Pedro Rodriguez and Genoveva Rodriguez; her husband Jesus; her daughters, Guadalupe and Maria Anita; her granddaughter Matilda; her siblings, Jesse Rodriguez Rogers, Frank Rodriguez, Margarito Rodriguez, Margaret Gonzalez and Gloria Ensinia; and her sons-in-law, Jose Uribe and Ray Gonzalez.
She is survived by: her children, Juan Garcia, Elvira Uribe, David Garcia, Elvia Mata (Ascencion), Diana Gonzalez, Oralia Garcia, Rachel Oviedo (Jose), Elida Lara (Sergio) and Jesse Garcia; her siblings, Raymond Rodriguez (Connie) and Amelia Hopgood (Ray); and her son Paul Anthony Garcia (Angie).
